UAE Desalination “Waste not Want not!

The saying “fortune favours the brave” is all about having the vision and backbone to take your business to the world.  Ecomag was recently welcomed to Dubai city to present its vision of magnesium recovery from desalination wastes. Using the technology/engineering of EcoMag’s Western Australian magnesium recovery project, which extracts from a solar salt similar to desalination wastes in UAE. Having started on a 20,000 tonne high purity Magnesium Oxide plant to provide much needed magnesium chemicals previously sourced from Russia, China, and Israel. Ecomag is a waste processing company that can replicate its process in the UAE.

Project plans are being set for a small commercial plant to show off what can be recovered to develop a magnesium business park for the UAE. Magnesium oxide is used in pharmaceutical supplements to toughen glass, animal feed and fire-retardant compounds for plastics.  EcoMag is the forefront in using waste to create resources and is a profitable circular economy business.  Like the UAE which is a high region of growth, built from a desert with the spirit of “can do” EcoMag project directly benefits the furthering of the UAE
