Fire Resistant Cladding Magnesium Carbonate

Gandalf said to the fire demon on the bridge in “You Shall Not Pass” is exactly what Magnesium Carbonate can do to fire as a preferred cladding material for buildings.

Recent fires in Spain and now China only enforces the need for governments to enforce better building materials that actually suppress a fire. As populations get larger and urbanisation increases more and more residential buildings are being planned to fit in people and their families into cities. Nobody wants to go to bed and worry about a fire in the very place that they are supposed to feel safe.

Magnesium Carbonate can be made in large volumes at EcoMag’s Karratha (Western Australia) site and in desalination sites throughout the world. It is 30% lighter than plasterboard and has natural insulator, anti mould, and resists insect infestation. It is a strong material that can withstand extreme external weather conditions from rain, hail, snow, hot, cold and humid. It is a direct substitute for existing cladding material and can be screwed nailed and formed to do its job.

EcoMag has spent 3 years research and semi commercialising its Magnesium Carbonate for use as a substitute building cladding product. I am sure that the builder that has to transport and lift our board into place will be extremely satisfied in it its handling/usage. People living flats or even house will sleep better knowing that the material surrounding their family is keeping them safe from fire. The cladding suppresses the fire and gives everyone a change to escape.
