Working towards a cleaner environment

The project is located NE of the Karratha Airport, on sub-leased land owned by Rainstorm Dust Control, which is approximately 8 km from the city of Karratha.  The location is well supported with existing infrastructure including gas pipeline, electricity transmission network and easy access to a port and the NW Coastal Highway.  The magnesium rich bitterns are supplied by Rainstorm, who have access to the bitterns stream that drains into Nickol Bay adjacent to Rainstorm’s site.  The total contained magnesium available in the bitterns stream is in excess of 100,000 tonnes per annum. 

The first site is in Karratha, Western Australia, where all necessary approvals have been secured with strong government support. The second site under development is in the USA, where EcoMag has secured a location and partnered with a major U.S. salt producer. Additionally, EcoMag is actively evaluating opportunities in the GCC, Spain, and South America.
